December 22 (Thursday) Volunteers requested to assist in bike fitting and helmet fitting at Jeff Paradowski's bike giveaway. Distribution of 100 bikes for kids and 25 helmets will on the east side of the Walmart in Bryan from 2-4 pm.

Dec 20 Jerseys have been distributed and mailed out. A few are still awaiting pickup, contact Jean Marie if you need to pick up a jersey. We still have some club stock. BVC members can buy jerseys from club stock at $55. More info on inventory to come.

Dec 14 Thanks to all Food Drive contributors. BVC and BVMBA had joint donations of $1221.50 for the food drive this year.

December 14 (Wednesday) Meet at 7:15 am at the Shell Station just east of Hwy 6 on Briarcrest. We will then bike to the Food for Families Drive at the Brazos Center. Bring food and financial donations to be carried in on your bike. If you'd like to add to BVC's monetary donation, please get a check to Jean Marie on or (preferably) before the morning of the 14th. Email Jean Marie for more info. Checks made out to Brazos Valley Food Bank.

December 13 -- changed (TUESDAY) 7:00 pm BVC meeting at Hot Dogs Etc. 310 N. Texas Ave. in Bryan. Jerseys will be distributed. Financial contributions for the food drive will be solicted as well.

November Unknown Jerseys are still pending some minor artwork changes and we hope to have them soon, when we do there will be a special meeting at Hot Dogs Etc. in Bryan (Hot Dog Bob's place). Jerseys were expected (cross fingers) the week of Sept 16, but have been delayed due to a myriad of small problems...when we will get them is still up for debate. Sorry for the delays. May 18 Ride of Silence departs College Station Conference Center on George Bush drive at 7:00 pm. This ride is to honor cyclists killed or injured in motor vehicle crashes. We are honoring the memory of Moises Humberto Barrera-Compean killed on May 5, 2005 and Wayne Robert Bryan, killed on August 10, 1997 in particular. May 18 Time Trial starts at 6 pm. Special early time to accomodate those joining the Ride of Silence.

April 11 The Monday Social Ride returns! Meet in TAMU's Research Park on Technology Loop at 6:30 pm, with helmet, headlight, taillight, flat change kit. This is a 15-20 mile ride at an easy to moderate pace.

March 6 Brazos Valley Cyclists 2005 training series will be scheduled throughout the season and the first ride is just a week and a half away. For this year's inaugural ride we have chosen the Anderson loop de loop.
