CANCELLED April 7/8 Road 1 Safety Course. $20 preregistration fee and registration form must be sent to Jean Marie by April 1. Total cost $55/ $15 discount to BVC/other cycling club members. Ride leaders can get their course paid for by BVC, other scholarships may be offered on a case-by-case basis; contact the instructor for more information. There will be about 3-4 hours of classroom work on Friday followed by 4-5 hours of mostly on the bicycle work on Saturday. Course descriptions (more than just Road 1). March 18/19 Bike Lagrange Weekend Rides start at 9 am and are free -- join our friends with Austin Cycling Association, San Antonio Wheelmen, and the Houston Bicycle club.

March 12 Sunday meet up at 12:30 pm for a 1 pm start to the Wildflower Wandering ride. Take University Drive out to Snook, turn left at FM 2155 and park in the Post Office parking lot. January 11 On December 22, BVC assisted Jeff Paradowski in distributing 100 bikes for underprivileged kids for Christmas. Read about it and see some pictures here. We also got 26 helmets donated from our friends at the Austin Cycling Association which we donated and fitted to kids receiving bikes.
