Mat and Mary had just broken a spoke on a wheel of their tandem!
Rob Shane, Justin, Chris and Big John were also with the group
at this time, but are not pictured. I counted about 17 BVC members
up at Hotter than Hell, including Jim Hollowell, Layne Westover, and
Regina and Shawn Hokanson. Layne wrote about his trip
here.

Most of us take a road trip up to Hotter than Hell. I got a ride
up with Gina and Shawn.

Many people stay in motels and hotels, which all have a special
HH100 rate (ka-ching!!!) and a required 2 day stay. Others "camp"
at the local YMCA. This is what Gina, Shawn and I did. Eric Branton
and Bill Garrett were also at the YMCA with us.

Lenae Huebner has a friend in Vernon. Laura Kennedy
and Hays Glover went with her for deluxe accomodations!
Lenae assures me she did not have to sleep with the gander.

The Worrall's at their ranch in Vernon, TX hosted Lenae, Laura and Hays.
After a big dinner post-ride Shawn, Gina and I went out to see the
Falls. Not the original falls for which Wichita Falls were named,
those washed out years ago. These aren't even on the original site,
and are visible from the highway!
