Dec 13 Monster PMS ride 9:00 am at College Station
High School Parking Lot at Harvey Mitchell and Nueces.

Dec 10 Wednesday -- KTBX Annual Food Drive. We
will meet at the strip mall with the Shell gas station on the north
side of Briarcrest, east of Hwy 6 at 6:45 am to
ride over to the Brazos Center at 7:00 am. If you wish to contribute
to the BVC monetary donation, email Colin colin-allen `at' tamu `dot'
edu -- we have over $500 already. Riders bringing food contributions in
panniers and trailers are welcome and appreciated.

Dec 9 Next BVC meeting is this Tuesday at 7:30 pm at
the Blue Baker. Ken Fogle from the City of College Station
will be visiting us to talk about cycling and the City.
Dec 8 Monday -- Social Ride meets at 6:30 at the Blue
Baker to ride to see the Central Park lights. Headlight, taillinght for
the bicycle are required, holiday decorations are optional.
Helmets for riders' heads are also required.
Dec 7 Sunday -- Annual Holiday Parade and BVC Holiday
Bash. The parade theme is "A Hollywood Christmas" and we are entered
with the title "Tinseltown in Tights" We will gather at Colin
and Lynn Allen's at 12:30 pm, 200 Suffolk in College Station.
A holiday potluck will occur after the parade at Colin and Lynn's.
Nov 23 Tour de Dirt ride 10:00 am this Sunday at
Springer's Chevron at the intersection of Highway 30 (Harvey Road) and
Highway 6 More

The League of American Bicyclists
will be making a presentation for the Bicycle Friendly Community Award.
Please plan on attending in your yellow BVC T-shirt. City Council is
located at City Hall, 1101 Texas Avenue South; College Station, TX.
